Why an attendance policy?

At Group-f, we strongly invest in health, engagement, and sustainable employability. We want everyone to feel good at work and to be properly supported during absence. At the same time, we ensure continuity, reliable service, and a healthy balance in every team.

Illness happens, but presence is valuable. The more colleagues present, the smoother the cooperation, the less pressure on others, and the stronger our teams. Everyone benefits.

That’s why we have clear agreements:

– What do you do in case of illness or absence?
– What are your rights and obligations?
– What about long-term or repeated absence?
– How do we ensure a smooth return to work?

Our attendance policy gives clear answers to these questions, with respect for your situation and health.

Guaranteed pay during illness: how does it work?

If you’re sick and follow the right steps (see further), you’re entitled to guaranteed pay:

Sick day Who pays?
Day 1 – 7: 100% by employer
Dayg 8 – 14: 85,88% by employer
Day 15 – 30: 25,88% by employer + rest by health insurance fund
From day 31: Health insurance fund

Note:
this only applies if you report your illness correctly and on time, and provide a valid medical certificate.

What doesn’t count as illness? Doctor’s appointments or consultations that are scheduled in advance are not considered illness. You must take these as vacation or unpaid leave.
