Absence coach
Sometimes it’s hard to return to work. Not because you don’t want to, but because the threshold feels too high – physically, mentally, or due to your home situation. In such cases, our absence coach can help.

What is an absence coach?
An absence coach is a trusted HR person who guides you personally in cases of:
– long-term illness or repeated short absences,
– a difficult return to work,
– questions about your workload or work ability,
– finding custom solutions. -
What does the coach do exactly?
– Listens to your story, without judgment.
– Provides clarity on possibilities and procedures.
– Coordinates with the occupational doctor and your supervisor (if needed).
– Proposes realistic steps toward returning to work.
– Supports reintegration, job adaptation or workload adjustments. -
How does the contact work?
– The conversation is confidential.
– You decide if you want a meeting.
– Contact can be by phone, at the office or at a neutral location. -
When can you contact the coach?
– If you doubt your work capacity.
– After a tough period (burn-out, surgery, family problems).
– If you feel fear or uncertainty about returning to work.
– If you feel you need help to start again.
How to contact the coach?
Via your supervisor or contact HR for an introduction with the absence coach.
